The Advanced E-Learning Platform (ALP) is a combination of three management systems, namely the Content Management System, Learning Management System and School Management System. Each system deals with a specific area of E-Learning that requires effective and innovative support in order to function to its fullest potential. The ALP is IMS and SCORM compliant. IMS and SCORM are international E-Learning standards. Adhering to these standards mean that the E-Content in ALP is transferable and operable in other E-Platforms of international standards.

“Diagnostic Remediation” is a unique and innovative technology developed by Litespeed to provide Just-In-Time remediation for specific skills that a student is weak in. It uses the DTAS engine to drive the paradigm of Assessment for Learning where students are given personalized feedback during the assessment to diagnose areas of weakness and to automatically retrieve the required lesson for remediation before continuing the assessment.

A Complete Learning Cycle
This technology promotes a complete learning cycle in which the strengths and weaknesses of individual students are intelligently identified, skill-specific lessons are recommended to students for immediate remedy, real-time feedback is given and profile reports of individual students are generated so that teachers can devise follow-up lessons to address the weaker areas. Our Diagnostic Tutorial Assessment System (DTAS) Engine received an Innovation Award at the PS21 Excel Convention 2001 from The Enterprise Challenge (TEC).
