The Advanced E-Learning Platform (ALP) is a combination of three management systems, namely the Content Management System, Learning Management System and School Management System. Each system deals with a specific area of E-Learning that requires effective and innovative support in order to function to its fullest potential. The ALP is IMS and SCORM compliant. IMS and SCORM are international E-Learning standards. Adhering to these standards mean that the E-Content in ALP is transferable and operable in other E-Platforms of international standards.

	A Flexible Multi-tasker

	The “Workbin” is a flexible tool that allows teachers to share lecture notes, resources and worksheets. It is also an avenue for students to submit homework for teachers to review. Teachers can track a student’s usage rate and set privacy levels depending on their personal preferences. They will be notified of file submissions via Email. When reviewing their students’ work, they can annotate and provide comments.

	Facilitates Early Planning For Work Plans

	Furthermore, they can create their own work plan, for example, by arranging files by level, by submission date or by the type of homework assigned. Students will be able to download files shared by their teachers, submit their work for review, view their teacher’s comments and work collaboratively in shared folders with their peers.
